Chicago Devotion Board Members

Chicago Devotion began to take shape in January 2017, after founding board members Everett Cowings and Byron Stingily discussed applying their education, business, and public service expertise to benefit the citizens of Chicago. Both men have a passion for helping students become successful Stewarts in the community. However, they also realized that once students graduated from high school, there was still work that needed to be done beyond the confines of the campus gates.

By February, a dedicated team of co-founders was recruited to help make Chicago Devotion a gathering place where millions of Americans can gain access to hard-to-find resources and information for free, and the company grew to bring the positive spirit of growth, success, and community service to all individuals, non-profits, and businesses alike. Since February of 2017, Byron Stingily, Everett Cowings, Thelma Ricks, Jon-Michael Foshee, Duane Buford, and Melquan Smith have volunteered their time and sacrificed countless hours to help build Chicago Devotion into a place where lives are changed.
