Absolutely. Like alcohol and tobacco, marijuana can be regulated and taxed to provide increased revenue for local, state, and federal governments. The amount of money our government spends on non-violent marijuana prosecution could be redirected into other areas like education and infrastructure, and the tax revenue could be used to create programs to help underprivileged youth in many ways.
