Literacy Works strengthens adult literacy, parent education, and workforce development programs by developing and providing innovative training and knowledge-sharing opportunities for professionals and volunteers.

The National Museum of Mexican Art offers Free Admission to the public, and offers over 3,000 years of creativity from both sides of the border, connecting museum visitors to the diversity of Mexican culture through a 10,000-piece permanent collection. The NMMA offers educational programs where kids of all ages can work and learn together in afterschool classes, summer camps, and teen mentorships.

NBA star Derrick Rose started the Rose Scholars scholarship program in hope to inspire students to be creative, put in some work, chase dreams, change the world, and make it better. The 2018 program was open to high school sophomore, junior, and senior students who were civically minded and have an instinct to lead. The application deadline was September 30, 2018, and the scholarship program is now closed.
